Australia is a popular study abroad destination because of its world-class universities and welcoming environment. It’s also an expensive country, however, there are scholarships that can help offset the costs of tuition fees, living expenses, and airfares.
The Australia Awards Scholarship is one of these prestigious fully-funded scholarships. It covers not only the tuition fee, but also a monthly stipend and Overseas Health Cover.

Applicants should consult the webpage for their country on the Australia Awards website to find out more about application opening and closing dates, scholarship eligibility criteria, and priority areas of study.
Selection of Australia Awards Scholarship recipients will be based on the merit of the application and weight given to applications that address skills gaps identified in Vanuatu’s National Human Resource Development Plan and which align with Australia’s development, economic and public diplomacy priorities. The selection process will also give consideration to the ‘multiplier effect’ of the candidate (that is, how they will use their knowledge and skills upon graduation to benefit their community).
